Pray for Release International partner, ‘Hand of Help’, in Kurdistan and for grace and protection for team members as they travel within Iraq and beyond.

Pray for Christian Syrian refugees, many of them widows, who are living in Kurdistan.  May they know God’s guidance about whether and when to return to Syria now that President Assad has been deposed. Pray for protection on their journeys and a blessing on their homecoming.

Pray for the health clinic and two schools run by St George’s Church in Baghdad and for all who encounter the gospel of love – in both word and deed – through using their services.

Pray for Sinan Hanna – Rev Faiz’s assistant (see previous day) – who is undergoing theological training, and that God would bless the next generation of Iraqi Christians.

Ask for God’s blessing on Rev Canon Faiz Jirjees and his ministry at St George’s Church in Baghdad. Pray that he may continue to be a beacon of light and hope to those living through dark and difficult times in the capital city and beyond.

Lift up to God in prayer believers who are living and ministering on an island in the southern Philippines that is under Sharia (Islamic law). They minister at great risk to themselves and their families. Pray for wisdom and protection as they share their faith.

Pray for one of our partners who is considering buying a plot of land to provide a safe house for Muslim-background believers and a training and discipleship centre. Pray that God would guide our partner to the right location and provide the necessary resources for this venture.
