Egypt now has more than six million refugees from Sudan. Pray for partner ministries that are seeking to provide practical help, while reaching out to them with the gospel.

Pray that Chinese shortwave radio broadcasts produced by our partner would not be jammed by the Government. Radio technicians work hard to ensure that these broadcasts can be heard by Christians throughout China.

Continue to pray for all those behind bars because of their refusal to compromise their Christian calling. Pray that they will be strengthened, comforted and encouraged. Remember too their families who miss them greatly.

Pray that the Lord will give His people in China discernment as the Communist Party proceeds with its programme for the ‘Sinicization of Christianity’. Pray that they will resist compromise and have courage to declare the Lordship of Christ above all.

Give thanks for Chinese house churches that have continued to meet in smaller groups despite the authorities’ efforts to close them down. Pray that they will be protected and continue to thrive.

Pray for wisdom for Chinese Christians as the Government continues its crackdown on online communications. Christian lawyer Xie Qida was recently issued with a notice by the Ethnic and Religious Affairs Bureau to stop ‘illegal behaviour’ and take down a TikTok post of a Christian hymn.

Pray for prisoner of faith Zhang Chunlei, a church elder, who continues to grieve the loss of his mother: The inability to say goodbye to loved ones is a common situation for many Chinese Christian prisoners.
