Psalm 119:18
Open my eyes that I may see
wonderful things in your law.
It's impossible for one to understand God and His word unless the Lord reveals Himself to us. Instead of studying God's word more diligently we should ask the Lord to reveal Himself from His word.
Amen!
We all need the "Spirit of Wisdom and Revelation". Trying to analyse the Bible as if it was just another instruction manual is pointless and may be harmful. We need to know the "Book of the Lord". It is far more important to know the "Lord of the Book". I teach in a Bible school, so I have to know God's word well. But I know that is has to be the Living Word, not just the written word.
