Psalm 57:2-3
I cry out to God Most High, to God, who vindicates me.
He sends from heaven and saves me,
rebuking those who hotly pursue me.
God sends forth His love and faithfulness.
A saint may be alone but is never lonely. Even when his enemies were persecuting him and his friends had abandoned him, David found refuge in God and learnt how to receive the Lord's comforting.
