John 10:30 (NASB)
I and the Father are One.
The concept of the Trinity is profound and impossible for this human mind to comprehend. How can God be three separate individuals and yet be the same Person? God the Father, God the Son, and God the Spirit are three distinct individuals, but still the same Person. An easy way out of this confusion is to picture God having multiple personalities and responsibilities. God the Father is the Sovereign and ultimate judge and ruler of the universe (Psalm 147:5). God the Son is the Savior and burden bearer of the universe (1 John 4:14), while God the Spirit is the power and essence of God (John 14:26).
